Blue cheese dressing

This recipe is one of the rare ones we have on here that needs to be treated with care in terms of being eaten just occasionally. Best avoided if you want to lose weight and eat it just occasionally if you are maintaining your weight. Use it as a dressing over salad, on top of cooked chicken or fish, or with your weekend BBQ.


  • 150ml mayonnaise
  • 142ml soured cream
  • 75g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Mix all ingredients together and season with pepper
  2. Store, covered, in the fridge for up to 3 days - make sure to stir before using
