Fillet steak with cauliflower mash

Fillet steak and cauliflower mash is just so easy. You could substitute the fillet for a cheaper cut of steak, serve with the cauliflower mash and add in another green seasonal vegetable.


  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • Pepper
  • 1 TBS natural yogurt
  • Olive oil spray
  • 100g fillet steak

Serves 1


  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and cook in boiling water until tender, then mash
  2. Add the pepper and yogurt. Set aside on a plate
  3. Heat a griddle pan, spray the steak with oil and cook for 3 minutes on each side
  4. Put the steak on the plate with the cauliflower mash and serve immediately
