Indian Spiced Chicken

This recipe can be put together after a long day at work, whacked in the oven and it’s good to eat within half an hour. Deliciously simple and tasty – we’re sure you’ll agree.

Serves 1


  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 chicken breast
  • tenderstem broccoli


  1. Blend the lemon juice, garlic, ground turmeric, ground coriander and the cayenne pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breast to the marinade and leave it to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. Once rested, grill the chicken for approximately 15 minutes, turning half way through. Ensure the chicken is cooked fully.
  4. Serve with a healthy serving of tenderstem broccoli.
