Raw yang purity with sprouts and seeds

This recipe may seem a little daunting at first glance, but it is in fact ever so flexible and easy to create, and enables you to include only those ingredients you love. This has raw yet warming vegetables and herbs to help circulation and support the detoxification process of the liver and digestive system. Why not make a large batch and have for lunch and/or perhaps a smaller portion for a midmorning or midafternoon snack. 

There are no exact measurements for these ingredients; it is based on what you have to hand.

Ingredients

  • Coriander leaf
  • Onion
  • Parsley
  • Kale
  • Leek
  • Parsnip
  • Pepper
  • Spring onion
  • Celeriac
  • Watercress
  • Brussel sprouts
  • Sprouted beans
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Lemon juice
  • Sesame oil

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients except the sprouted beans and seeds in a food processor and blend until finely chopped
  2. Put into a bowl, season with lemon juice and sesame oil, and add the beans and seeds.
