My Healthy Eating Programme for energy and weight loss

"This 12 week programme changed my life!"

An administrator working in a busy office environment, Michelle thought she would never be able to lose weight. It was always someone’s birthday and endless birthday cakes would go around the office, plus Michelle could not resist crisps and chocolate and regular takeaway meals. Her working hours were long and her job was pressurised and Michelle needed to fuel up regularly with sugary foods to keep her energy levels up. Michelle says "I found the first week tricky, I had to make some changes to my foods which I found difficult but not impossible. Some of the foods I was eating before I began this programme I really believed were good for me but in fact they were preventing me from losing weight. However, after the first week was over I began to get into in. I really enjoyed eating all the good foods and I began to feel more energised. Amazingly after the second week my skin really improved and I began to lose weight. I lost my bloating and even my sleep improved. You have to get organised with your food, it helps to plan ahead. I would write all my food down into my food diary for the coming week so that I knew what I was going to be eating. Doing this just gave me the security I needed in the first few weeks. I would take ten minutes at the weekend to create my food diary and shopping list. I would buy everything I needed for the week and make sure I had factored in my take-to-work lunches and snacks. Planning is definitely key. I lost 22lbs by the end of my 12 week programme, my skin cleared, my energy soared and I felt great. I have carried on eating real food ever since. In fact people often comment on all the healthy food I have in my shopping trolley. I am so glad I did this programme, it has changed my life."
