  • Dark turkey meat

Healthy alternatives:

  • White turkey meat, skinless
  • Salmon
  • Chicken breast, skinless
  • Lean beef
  • Nut roast

 

Original:

  • Processed gravy

Healthy alternative:

  • Drained turkey juices

 

Original:

  • Roast potatoes

Healthy alternatives:

  • Wild rice
  • Baked sweet potato
  • Butternut squash mash
  • Boiled potatoes
  • Roast parsnips and carrots

 

Original:

  • Sausage meat stuffing

Healthy alternative:

  • Cranberry and quinoa stuffing
  • Roasted chestnut or mushroom stuffing
